Troublemakers, Silicon Valley's Coming of Age is a recently published book by Leslie Berlin, project historian for the Silicon Valley Archives at Stanford University. It tells the story of the Silicon Valley in the 1970's and early 1980's. The history of the valley is told through the significant work of 7 men and women who were active in various well-known companies (e.g. Atari, Xerox, etc.) and enabled through their action the transition of technology from academy and government to the industry and public, preparing the ground to the valley as we know it today.
